Catfish.

My In-laws have been nurturing catfish as their family business aside from their bukirin. I wasn’t able to visit the bukid for days now, but earlier my FIL came home with 2 catfish for me. He knows I love eating fish. I took a photo before my MIL cooks them. Naawa pa ako sa kanila, kasi feeling ko di na sila makahinga. So, I went to get a pail for them to swim, bago sila isalang sa lutuan. Both my in-laws where laughing because of my sillyness.

Just as I was happily reading blogs in my room and listening to Nerina Pallot songs. Biglang sumigaw si MIL and FIL. So I turned off my music, went out and asked “nanay” about it. Ayun nga, bumulaga sa akin ang napakalaking usok sa likod ng kusina. Wala naman sunog. (Thank God!) It’s just that may nag-siga!

Bagong a-ni kasi ang palayan kaninang umaga. At ngayon sinunog na nila ang mga hindi kailangan. Effect??? Eto, amoy usok ang buong kabahayan. Haaaaaay kahit dito sa kwarto, kahit sarado na ang bintana at pinto, pumapasok parin ang amoy at usok. Grrrr!!!!

Currently: humahapdi na mga mata ko sa usok. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

A new change.

Last Oct 11, I’ve changed my home address. I’m now residing in a beautiful, relaxing place called Bustos, Bulacan.

I’m on my 1st week here, and I must say I’m comfortable with the place and the people. Life in “bukid” is very different in the city. I spent my 25 years living in a fast-paced, noisy place, full of violence and other things in the city. Now that I’m living in a “bukid” life. I’m more relaxed, can SLEEP well without any apprehencion that someone will walk in our rooftop to snatch an electricity or worst have a sudden fire with your neighbor’s house. I’ve been traumatized with these kinds of things that surrounds me in my city life then. (I’ll post this in my next blog, if time permits)

I’m currently drinking my “Taho” that was bought my FIL. Grabe, I’m very much spoiled here. Everything I want to eat, they were able to give it to me without any hassle! Last Wednesday, I woke up with lots of food in my table here inside my room! I’m very much grateful with my In-laws where I am staying right now. Di talaga nila ako pinababayaan. Ang sarap ng feeling! Kwento ko nga kay Mr. M via YM, sagot lang niya, “Mawili ka” while laughing.

By the way, while I’m typing this blog. I’m facing my window in my bedroom and sipping my “Taho” (soya drink with sweets). I’ trying to finish my glass while listening to Leona Ness songs. Ahhhh! life here is good and relaxing, just the way I want it.

So. Kamusta ka naman?

Pasensya na, hindi na naman ako nakapag update ng blog ko. Dapat marami akong kwento di ba?  So kamusta naman ba?

For the past 5 days ano ano ba mga nangyari sakin? Well. Na-adik lang naman ako sa pinapanuod kong tv series online. Ang “HEROES” natapos ko na ang Season 1 and 2. Season 3 na ako Episode 3. Ayun. Hanggang dun lang, kc wala pang update online ng kasunod. Geesh! Kainis. Nakakabitin. Maghahanap na naman ako bagong kaaadikan. Meron na kayang Grey’s Anatomy Season 4? Hmm.. I’ll check.

Naiinis ako. Hindi pa rin tama ang oras ng pagtulog ko. Madaling araw na ako nakakatulog, usually 2am na! OMGolly! di ba nakakainis?? hindi pa naman ako pede mapuyat. As in HINDI TALAGA PWEDE! pero what can I do? kahit anong gawin ko, hindi talaga ako makatulog. Haaayz…ang masama pa niyan, maaga rin ako nagigising. 6:30am. So kamusta naman di ba?!

Nung Linggo. More than 8 hours kami magkausap ni Mr.M via YM. Salamat talaga sa YM! mas nakakatipid kami.

Kung ano ano lang napagusapan namin. Ganito pala ang LDR. Medyo mahirap pero dahil na rin sa Kompyuter at unlimited internet, mas madali at di ganun kahirap ang komunikasyon namin. Masaya ako at marami kami napagusapan. Thank you po Lord!

Kahapon. Nagpunta ako ng MOA (Mall of Asia) Nagbayad ng bills. Kasama si mudra. Ok pala dun, hindi pa kasi talaga ako nakakagala sa mall na yun. Pag napupunta kasi ako dun, kain lng sa gilid, ung mga resto dun, at makikipagchikahan lang sa mga friends. Ganun lang, tamad kasi ako maglakad. Paano kasi ang laki ng mall na yun, madali pa naman sumakit ang paa ko, lalo na pag naka-heels ako. Kaya kahapon lang talaga ako nakagala sa mall na yun. And I can say, gusto ko yung mall na yun. Malaki, marami pagpipilian, hindi gaano ma-tao at malinis. Siguro dahil na rin weekday ako nagpunta kaya maaliwalas sa paningin ko ang mall.

Marami ako naipamili. Halos puro lahat kay Zach. But I don’t mind, para sa kanya naman yun eh, at natutuwa ako mamili. Sarap ng feeling! ganun pala yun.

Pagkatapos mag MOA, dumaan kami ni mudra sa Baclaran. Dun naman ako namili ng gamit ko. Oo mas gusto ko mamili ng gamit ko dun, kasi mas mura at matibay din. Nakabili ako ng 2 dress, 1 slippers na may cute details, bagay na bagay dun sa nabili ko na dress at 2 pantulog. Syempre, binilhan ko rin si mudra. Nagpabili siya ng pedal pants, at 3 pajama. Sarap talaga magshopping sa baclaran! Matagal tagal pa ulit, bago ako makabalik dun.

Bago umuwi. Dumaan kami ng Baclaran church May nakita akong pari, at nagpabless ako, nakakatuwa ang paring yun. Isa siyang Espanyol. Pero ang galing niya magtagalog. Sayang hindi ko nakuha ung pangalan niya, e paano masyado ako na-overwhelmed sa kanya. Sa mga sinabi niya sakin. Hindi ko siya makakalimutan.

5:30pm na kami nakauwi ng bahay. Taxi-galore kami ni mudra, ang dami kasi namin bitbit! hindi namin kinaya. Nakakapagod, pero worth it ang lakad namin. And I’m very much thankful kay Lord kasi nakapagshopping ulit ako. Thank you po sa lahat ng blessings!

Litratong Pinoy – Aking Kompyuter

Ito ang aking lahok ngayong Huwebes. Ang aking Kompyuter.

Macky, ang aking kompyuter.

Hindi ito ang aking unang kompyuter. Sa katunayan, pangalawa na ito. Ang una kong naging kompyuter ay Toshiba Satellite na bigay ng aking Tito, umabot ang kanyang buhay ng 5 taon. Gamit ko iyon nung ako’y nag-aaral pa sa kolehiyo hanggang sa ako’y nagkatrabaho. Nasira ito noong Hulyo.

Ito naman si Macky ay ibinigay naman ng aking Mr. M. Dinala niya ito nung siya ay nagbakasyon ng 4 na araw dito sa Manila. Ito ang nagsisilbing libangan ko habang ako’y nasa bahay. Ito ang lagi namin gamit sa tuwing kami ay magkakausap sa YM. Mahirap makipag komunikasyon lalo na sa panahon na ito kung wala kang kompyuter. Malaki ang natitipid namin imbis na gumamit ng telepono. Napakalaking tulong talaga ni Macky.

Sa una hindi ako sana’y sa pag gamit nito. Nung una ako’y nahirapan sa pag gamit, dahil kakaiba ito sa nakaugalian kong gamit sa dati kong kompyuter. Pero ngayon, ako’y masaya at nasasanay na ako sa pag gamit nito. Kasama ko si Macky sa lungkot at ligaya.

A Sweet Love Story – Anonymous

From the very beginning, girl’s family objected strongly on her dating this guy, saying that it has got to do with family background, & that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him. Due to family’s pressure, the couple quarreled very often. Though the girl loved the guy deeply, she always asked him: “How deep is your love for me?” As the guy is not good with his words, this often caused the girl to be very upset. With that & the family’s pressure, the gal often vents her anger on him. As for him.. he only endured it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the gal: ”I’m not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?” The girl agreed, & with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged.

The gal went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up.

One day, while the gal was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum cry, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. She had lost her voice….

The doctor says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents’ comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital, besides silent cry. it’s still just silent cry that accompanied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone which pierced into her heart every time it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer. With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply and countless phone calls. all the gal could do besides crying is still crying…. The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy. With a new environment, the gal learnt sign language & started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend came & told her that he’s back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn’t anymore news of him.

A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy’s wedding. The gal was shattered. When she opened the letter, she saw her name on it instead. When she was about to ask her friend what was going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her….

He used sign language to tell her, “I’ve spent a year to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have this chance to be your voice. I Love You.” With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The gal finally smiled……

Treat every relationship as if it’s the last one, then you’ll know how to give.

Treasure what you have right now, or else you may regret one day… and no matter how hard –things will never ever be the same.

Puti at Itim

Ito ang aking lahok sa tema ng Litratong Pinoy na Puti at Itim.

Si Panda. Anak ng aming aso si Indira. Nanganak siya ng tatlo, dalawang brown at siya lang ang nag-iisang puti at itim ang kulay. Panda ang ipinangalan ng aking Tita, dahil sa kanyang kulay. Mukha kasi siyang “Panda”. Sa kanilang tatlo, siya lang din ang nag-iisang babae. Ang kanyang dalawang kapatid ay parehong lalaki. Nakakatuwa si Panda, siya ang pinaka-makulit sa kanilang tatlo. Ang pinaka-maingay sa lahat. Dahil na rin siguro siya ang nag-iisang babae. Di ba nga nasa “nature” na ng babae ang maging madada.  Mahilig siya makipaglaro sa mga kapatid niya, at napaka-hyper. Sa tuwing parating na ang Tita ko galing opisina, sinasalubong na siya ng kanyang mga alaga, at isa si Panda sa mahilig sumalubong sa kanya ng tuwa at pag-amoy sa kanyang paa. Siya si Panda.
